Through this process, Splatsin acquired 4 Non-Renewable Forest Licences (NRFL) in 3 different Timber Supply Areas with a total Annual Allowable Cut (AAC) of over 71,000m3.
Landmark’s project highlights include:
- Drafting, signing and sealing an FSP that provides the operational framework to guide Splatsin’s forestry operations over a 671,063 ha area
- Successfully advising Splatsin on all NRFL management decisions regarding development locations, timing, and target species and products
- Completing development activities including layout and prescriptions, appraisals and permit applications, log marketing, harvest operations supervision, post harvest assessments and prescriptions
- Employing Splatsin band members to work on Splatsin’s NRFL and other Landmark projects
