The purpose of this project was to implement habitat restoration and reduce seasonal flooding and associated infrastructure damage. The objectives included realigning Vernon Creek and the developing a larger floodplain, removing concrete retaining walls to naturalize the banks installing fish habitat features (pools and riffles), and seeding / planting.
