Landmark was contracted to horizontally expand a proposed production pad using a GRS wall. The GRS wall was used to expand the pad area without increasing the pad footprint. This allowed the client to avoid costly construction and permitting delays. The site is located in fine sandy soils with a high water table. The geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRS) design utilized a combination of imported granular material and clay from a local borrow pit.
