In 2019, Splatsin Construction Services was retained by BC Hydro to replace the navigation guide wall panels at the Hugh Keenleyside Dam in Castlegar, BC. This two phase project included the panel fabrication at the Salmon Arm facility and installation of the panels at the dam site. The installation of the new panels and the removal and disposal of the old panels were completed with a qualified team and certified equipment including, workboat, barges, support vessels and equipment, crane, and an experienced dive team requiring both onshore and water operations.

Once the new panels were seated in the receiving channel, crews secured each panel into place. New Bull Rails, new aluminum grating, and cleat refurbishment were done once the panel installation was complete.
