The District of Sicamous contracted SCS to construct a public boat launch in Old Town Bay in preparation for the 2016 boating season. The project involved precast concrete panels and concrete planks to transition from shore to the lakebed. The project, completed in April, 2016, continues to build on the marine infrastructure expertise SCS has been building. Steel piles driven adjacent to the launch will be used by a private developer constructing a new marina adjacent to this facility.
