SCS was contracted by BC Hydro to continue extensive modifications to river bank protection (rip rap) adjacent to the Revelstoke Golf Course. Building on the work initiated in 2009, the slope preparation and placement of an additional 4700 m3 of rip rap over 1300 meters of riverbank was completed over a three week window in October, 2014, with minimal disturbance to the golf course and its patrons. To finalize the protection of the Columbia River bank, planting and seeding was completed in 2015 in the area adjacent to the newly installed rip rap.
