Henderson Creek - GRS Supported Arch (Bridge Plate)

The existing round culvert at this location was identified as a barrier to fish passage due to the scour created at its outlet, a result of increased water velocity in the round culvert. Landmark was retained to replace this culvert with a GRS supported arch. This structure was chosen as it allowed the owner to keep a road width that was suitable for the tight horizontal curve at the crossing site. Landmark provided project management, as well as all materials and equipment (with the exception of heavy machinery), and all labour required to complete this project. The project was completed in 7 days.
